This is the most beautiful painting! I feel lucky and blessed that I came across it! My husband and I honeymooned in Mo’orea and we had taken many pictures in front of this church. To find that Greg Collins painted it was such a joy! We will treasure it forever!

I was super-pleased with my photo print purchase! Like many people, I’m sure, when making online purchases there’s always just a little voice of skepticism in the back of my mind. I knew I liked the image, but had to roll the dice that it would look good in person, the frame would be adequate, etc. I must say it exceeded even my hopeful expectations! First of all, the packing was stellar. The photo print did look great in person, and the framing was WAY better than I was expecting! It was ready to go with a sturdy hanging wire already in place. Unfortunately it was a gift, so I don’t have a photo of it on my wall! I did, however, open and inspect it before wrapping it and re-shipping (in the same stellar packing!). I would easily recommend FineArtAmerica and will happily shop with them again in the future…worry free!

Artist's Description
The crop circle, drawn in the center of the sunflower, was deconstructed by Judy Chapman using the tools of the geometer; compass, straightedge and pencil. To place the crop circle in a larger context, sunflower petals are added and a nod is given to those delightful things in nature with wings. This construction was completed primarily in water colors with the exception of the shaded areas on the petals and edges of the artwork. The central crop circle construction was reported on August 15, 2021 in Roundway Hill, Wiltshire, UK. Eight fold geometries play out in the triangular pattern which surrounds a basket weave pattern and an additional circle of standing crops shown as dots. Golden Mean circles within Golden Mean circles make up the spatial areas from the tips of the triangles moving inward.
About Judith Chapman
Judy Chapman received her BA in Art Education from the University of Northern Colorado, Greeley, Colorado, in 1979 and has 10 years’ experience teaching high school art in Wyoming and now resides in Yelm, Washington. For the past 10 years, her passion has been drawing sacred geometry patterns and creating sacred geometry constructions using the basic tools of the geometer; the compass, pencil and straightedge. With a background in art, it seemed only natural to combine this new form of study, sacred geometry, with an artistic expression. She began by adding color using her favorite colored pencils and eventually explored more creative ideas in watercolor, artist markers and/or using 3D embellishments. Each artwork begins with a...
